i have no opinion on the rest of your q but i just called him zesty cause it sounded funny and my foids in chat like to goon over him with his shirt off. Was mostly just a little easter egg for them.
You are overestimating how much people base their opinions on "Facts and evidence", and think that people are being misled with misleading facts and evidence. It's not even that complex. It's literally just "my enemies like him so he must be bad" and "my friends like him so he must be good". right wing people don't like him because left wing people do. Incel men don't like him because women do. 80% of what people believe about the world comes down to this type of really low resolution social-proof-based thinking.
If we’re using the political compass (which isn’t that accurate tbh), he’s 100% on the libertarian rather than authoritarian side.
As for left or right, he seems to be more anti-capitalist if we’re referring to the assassination.
Although, some other aspects of his social media point to him being either center/neutral or pro-capitalist.
I’d say more left (anti-capitalist) than right (pro-capitalist), if we’re also looking at his interest in the Unabomber’s writings. Or maybe more anti-industrialization than anything else. Perhaps anarcho-primitivist.
I’d argue that he is more libertarian than anything. The only instance that we know of him interacting with Anarchism was when he read Ted K, but I always interpreted that as him primarily resonating with the anti-modern technology aspect of Ted K’s thought. Luigi has previously expressed dislike towards tech, like the time when he proclaimed that he had a “boomer vendetta” against phones in a text message to his friend, and generally seems discontent with the trajectory of where modern society is headed on the basis of technology (judging by his digital footprint on Twitter, his last Reddit post, and what Bhogal Gurwinder claims that they talked about during their interactions). Perhaps he has qualms about how shit government is, but that wouldn’t be out of the ordinary. Most people are disillusioned with the current status quo, but far fewer people are any type of anarchist… ask me how I know lol
I know. I’m quite familiar with his works. Ted was referring to social justice warriors when referring to “leftists”.
He was not against the traditional meaning of left (anti-capitalist), but rather against modern “progressives” such as liberal feminists, etc. Which makes sense, because these conversations under capitalism do not work.
He had quotes about animal cruelty in his Good Reads account and didn't eat meat, so maybe he simply preferred the idea of lab grown meat because it doesn't require animal suffering and death. Also "chemical slop" is an interesting choice of words considering the hormones etc that go into so much meat.
Why does this “lab-grown rubbish” not qualify as food, and why do you keep using charged language as a substitute for an actual argument? “Chemical slop” means literally nothing either, and reads to me as a knee-jerk reaction to lab-grown food rather than proper reasoning surrounding the pros and cons of it.
ah. I see. Yes you are right it does not. Though given his low activity on IG and the seeming private nature of this account, I would be surprised if there was much more than friends on there.
Open the medal is most likely a wink to a beachy pop song (Calma) from a puertorican artist (Pedro Capó) that was a hit during this time. The song in the chorus says, “abre la Medalla” which translates to open the Medal. Medal refers to Medalla which is our most famous local beer.
"Zesty" 😂 Max you crush on him harder than we do, dont you?
I don’t understand the people calling him zesty. Is it just because he is conventionally attractive in the face?
He is quite masculine. It seems that many men online do not like Mangione and keep saying he’s going to get assaulted.
Not sure why they no longer respect him. Is it the corporate media that convinced them to hate him?
Because it’s clear that the violence aspect of the assassination is not actually something those people are against. There has to be something else.

Damn, I wanted your opinion on the rest of the comment.

You’re 100% right. It’s actually quite obvious. I’m not sure why this didn’t occur to me earlier, I guess I didn’t want it to be true.
Also given the risk of all his social media’s getting nerfed at any moment these are turning out to be good sources
Not that one Elon Musk description 😭
Even though this is info we already have, I don't think I've seen it compiled in a cohesive way before so this is actually v useful
Excellent research. 👏
You think he’s left of centre Max?
Yeah I also was questioning that lol

Good point. In American context he’s probably left centre- but by EU context he’s bang centre lmao
I’d say he’s more anarchist than anything. Whether left, right, or center, that’s to be analyzed more deeply.

You make good points. Although, anarchism is just being libertarian to the maximum, if we’re being honest.
You make good points.

I was surprised at his interest in lab grown alternatives. Aka chemical slop. Considering how health conscious he was.

You can have a healthy vegan diet without compromising on quality of food. And let’s be honest, lab grown rubbish does not qualify as food.

“Zesty” lol. Luigi was so right about a doghouse.
little easter egg for my gooner foids
Hi Max, do you have an archive or images of who he was following on Instagram?
its linked at the top of the IG section. There is a vid someone took of it.
I believe that it does not include who he was following unfortunately.
ah. I see. Yes you are right it does not. Though given his low activity on IG and the seeming private nature of this account, I would be surprised if there was much more than friends on there.
You’re probably right. I wanted to see if he was following any political or similar accounts.
